Clean Cookstoves

TECHNOLOGY

Clean Cookstove projects promote the adoption of cleaner and more efficient stoves which use less fuel and produce fewer harmful emissions comparing to cooking methods which typically involves the burning of solid fuels such as wood, charcoal, or other biomass. Clean Cookstoves aim to address the health, environmental, and social issues associated with conventional inefficient cooking methods, particularly in low and middle income communities where access to electrical or gas cooking equipment is limited, therefore having the potential to generate high value carbon credits from developing such projects.

BENEFITS

HOW IT WORKS

Clean Cookstove technology is specifically designed and engineered for heat retention and combustion efficiency to reduce fuel consumption, improve cooking efficiency, and minimise smoke and harmful emissions. This improvement in fuel combustion significantly improves indoor air quality when burning various fuels such as wood, charcoal, or purposely made biomass pellets, compared to traditional cookstoves.
